Out of respect to yourself
Remember that if you expect the world to respect you, you must start with yourself. Only by being internally coherent can you get a lasting external result. So begin with respecting yourself first. You are an exceptional, wise and beautiful woman, full of inner strength and opportunities ahead of you. The only thing you need is to believe in it and act accordingly.
Out of respect to yourself, don’t allow anyone to say you are worthless, that you know or can do nothing. That you keep causing trouble, that you cry all the time, that you’re excessively emotional, infantile, weak or pathetic. Such words can only be said by those who feel that way deep down, and you can naturally feel sorry for them, but you definitely cannot allow such behaviour.
Out of respect to yourself, part ways with those who do nothing but take, burden you with their problems, or their inner deficiencies, surround you with negative energy, as well as those who hurt or harm you, drag you down. That is all they can do. Why would you need such relationships?
Out of respect to yourself, don’t text or call when he isn’t responding. Give such an acquaintance a break, because you are worthy of most careful attention. You don’t need it from someone who has simply forgotten about you. You need a man for whom a minute without you feels like eternity.
Out of respect to yourself, stop speaking and thinking ill of yourself and the world. This way, you keep attracting mishaps, worries, unpleasant situations, thus not only hurting yourself, but denying yourself a chance for new opportunities and for your dreams to come true.
Out of respect to yourself, simply get to love yourself. Accept your body, age, and all the imperfections you see in yourself. Remember that your age is absolutely one of your assets – a testimony to your wisdom, inner maturity and your beautiful awareness. Whereas your body is the vehicle which carries you through life, all your lifetime. Appreciate it with particular veneration.
Out of respect to yourself, be honest to yourself. Give up on the most common of excuses, such as lack of time, money and ideas. Stop explaining yourself with your kids, responsibilities and work in order to put things off. There will never be a better time than now. Nothing better is going to happen once you start, finish, ignore or wait something out, isn’t it so?
Out of respect to yourself, stop competing with others, comparing yourself to them and quit being envious. Focusing on other people’s successes and failures is a wasted time you could otherwise use for your betterment.
Out of respect to your self, take proper care of your development. Overcome your fears, open to new things, try new dishes, visit new countries, get to know new people, break the stereotypes, don’t follow the tribe, look for new possibilities, spot opportunities.
Out of respect to yourself, keep changing – change your life, change your opinion, aim for the moon, expect the unexpected, allow yourself to be surprised and simply … respect yourself. It is the only way to gain respect of other people.
